Emerald Keepers High School Interns Speak at

City Council Meeting

Student interns challenge City Council Members to enact a strong single-use plastic reduction ordinance for Coronado — the only beach community from Imperial Beach to Oceanside without a plastic reduction ordinance. With 177 plastic reduction ordinances in California, they want to see Coronado become a leader in this area with a comprehensive single-use plastic reduction ordinance for our island community.
