CMS Emerald Keepers Club

Provides Much Needed Care for CMS Garden

The garden at Coronado Middle School (CMS)— Cole Mullin’s Eagle Scout Project— had fallen into disrepair during the pandemic. With the expansion of Emerald Keepers Clubs to CMS, Emerald Keepers and the Coronado Public Library have revitalized the garden. Tara Davies, Teen Librarian and Environmental Librarian, oversees the students working in the garden and compost. Harvested food from both gardens are taken by Rotarians to the IB Food Pantry to feed the food insecure.
