The days of consuming overflowing non-compostable plates of pasta and donuts are over. Let’s dig in and explore through taste how good the earth can be.  In celebration of Earth Day, children (ages 5-12) with a parent, grandparent, or other adult will mince, measure, mix and make mindful earth-friendly vegetarian dishes from “Round” the World in this afternoon cooking workshop presented by the Coronado Recreation and Golf Services Department.  Celebrate Mother Earth’s bounty from 1:00-4:00pm at the Coronado Community Center.  To register call 619-522-7342 or go online at coronado.ca.us/register.
