Coronado Public Library in partnership with Emerald Keepers is please to present this important Eco-Wise lecture. The City of Coronado has begun a sea level rise planning process, consisting of a Vulnerability Assessment and Adaptation Plan. The Vulnerability Assessment identifies areas in Coronado that are subject to projected sea level rise and associated hazards. The Adaptation Plan will then provide a variety of possible strategies and approaches that the City can use to plan for and address impacts identified by the Vulnerability Assessment. Join Jane Thornton, Associate Planner, to learn about the recently completed Draft Vulnerability Assessment. Please note that this presentation is a repeat of the City’s presentation from July 29.
